Finding More Than What’s Printed On A T-Shirt

During my interview with founder and owner of the Ramones Museum, Flo Hayler, I thought about the idea of depth versus breadth, how so much of what we consume, from food to entertainment is understood on a superficial level. We seldom take the time to deeply inform ourselves about the music we listen to or the core ethos of the musicians themselves. But when we educate ourselves, we enrich the experience, which ultimately adds to our own convictions about ourselves and what we stand for:

The Ramones now are pretty much known to a lot of people and, if you wanna call it mainstream, then to a certain extent they are mainstream, but then again, if you really dive into their music and the band itself, then you will find lots more then what’s printed on a t-shirt.
