The Arts in our DNA

In my travels, I’ve found countless examples of the arts being used as a tool for personal and social empowerment, but does our compulsion to create works of art come from our genetics?
In my interview the father of modern linguistics, professor Noam Chomsky, I learned that, like our inborn capacity to acquire language, the yearning to create music, visual art, dance, songs, and other expressions of creativity are also innate.
